What’s going on at the farm?
This week gave us some amazing weather that was perfect for the vegetables at the farm after the cold bit we just had. We took that as a sign to finally plant our summer vegetables. Those warm-weather crops include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, and more.

The berries at the farm are bouncing back from last weekend’s overnight frost, and soon we will be seeing blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries straight from our soil.

And our herbs are going in now as well, which is a great indication to everyone who picked from our plant sale that now is the time to put your starter herbs in the garden too. How great will it be to be able to pick them right from your own yard when you’re cooking?

And last but not least, our greens are thriving at this point.
The leafy greens like spinach, kale, lettuce, or other spring mixes coming straight from our farm have been all been consistently hearty. Here is a picture of some rows of our spinach plants.
